外交部、衛福部疾病管制署昨(9)日晚間宣布,將南韓黃色旅遊警示燈號、疫情建議「第二級:警示(Alert)」範圍,從首都首爾擴大至南韓全境。外交部、疾管署建議,國人若非醫療需要,應避免進出南韓境內的醫療院所。

疾管署昨召開「傳染病醫療網指揮官會議、MERS應變小組會議」,會中討論後決定拉高南韓的旅遊疫情建議,原僅將首爾列為第2級,首爾以外的南韓地區列為「第1級:注意(Watch)」等級,現決定將南韓全境列為第2級,疾管署說,病例定義將配合一併修正。

疾管署說明,由於南韓第三波疫情持續延燒,且有多家南韓境內醫院出現確定病例,雖然尚未出現社區感染,但考量南韓境內的MERS病例數量在國際上僅次於沙烏地阿拉伯,故決定再次拉高旅遊疫情建議等級,目前該疫情建議等級高於世界衛生組織(WHO)、美國、新加坡等,僅低於香港及澳門。

而香港政務司長林鄭月娥昨(9)日宣佈,對韓國發出紅色旅遊警示,香港旅遊業亦同意,即日起至本月30日所有的韓國觀光團,全部取消。

香港信報報導,香港保安局昨天12時正式向韓國發出紅色旅遊警示,建議市民如非必要,應避免前赴韓國;身在當地的香港民眾,應盡量避免到訪當地的醫療機構。

儘管此舉衝擊到香港旅遊業,但香港旅遊業議會總幹事董耀中表示,經與各旅行社開會後,同意取消除郵輪團以外,至月底前所有的韓國旅行團。而暫停韓國旅行團將會影響1萬至1.2萬名旅客。

根據韓聯社報導,韓國新增8例MERS確診病例,新增1例死亡病例。目前韓國確診的MERS患者增至95人,死亡人數增至7人。
