雲林縣24日降下大豪雨，蔬菜產區傳出災情，25日菜農雇工搶收，西螺果菜市場到貨量增加，但因預期心理，蔬菜均價每公斤微漲1元，後續因蔬菜水傷發酵，估計還會持續上漲。
西螺果菜市場昨日到貨量大約為930公噸，與上星期五的870公噸相比增加了近1成，主要是菜農擔心大雨造成蔬菜泡水腐爛而搶收。均價每公斤20元，比上星期五微漲1元，若是優良品則上漲得更多，但總體而言漲幅並不大。
不過，傳統菜市場則明顯反應蔬菜水傷，大雨前每把蔬菜均價15元，昨天上漲至20元，漲幅達3成，婆婆們大喊「漲很多」，媽媽們則說「差5元還好」，可以先挑選未漲價蔬菜，「不要一窩蜂，就不會被貴到。」
